40 hours a week × 52 weeks = 2080 hours a year. This is the convention the Bureau of Labor Statistics applies, which is why the annual figures here line up with the ones on our salary guides rather than drifting from them. All figures are gross, before tax and deductions, and exclude overtime, bonuses and benefits.
